Hello All,

I have sent you this message to invite you to walk with me and Joe Sipe for Evan in a walk for suicide prevention. The walk is September 11, 2010 and will be downtown at the canal. This walk is put on everything year by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). I have created our team and it is called "For Evan". Donations are asked for but are not required when you register, so you can walk with us even if you do not have the funds to donate. I will be contacting registered members of our team when the walk gets closer about t-shirt sizes. We are going to ask each walker to pay between $5-$10 for their t-shirt to help Joe cover the cost of making them. To register follow the link below and then follow the directions below.

In the right hand corner there is a place where it says "find an event near you! click here"

Then, select Indiana

Select the walk that is on 9/11/2010, it is the Indianapolis Walk, White River State Park

Once on the page for the Indianapolis walk select Register now.

On the next page you enter your name, address, and e-mail address. You must set a password for your account.

Then, select "team walker", set a fundraising goal (fundraising is not required to walk) and then select "join a team"

A drop-down list of teams will show up, Evan's team is a general walk team this year and is named "For Evan"

On the next page you answer a few short questions and accept the waiver.

Then on the last page you double check your information and then click "Complete Registration!" to join our team.
